Welcome to the iusetime Signature Course!

Your First Activity!

…and you can do it on the couch!

The Social Media Swap

Step 1:

Unfollow anything that makes you feel bad. This requires some radical honesty with yourself! Anything you are following that makes you feel;

  • Sad

  • Not good enough

  • Depressed

  • Judgemental

  • Causes you to compare yourself to others

…hit the unfollow button!

This will have a HUGE benefit for your personal progress over the coming weeks (and beyond!).

There is really no need to be following these accounts if they don’t contribute to your happiness.

Consider this an experiment, you only need to commit to it for a few weeks and then we promise you can re-follow the accounts you miss if you really feel like you’re missing out on something at the end of the course.

Don’t forget to clear old searches in Instagram:

  1. Go to your profile, and click the menu button on the top right hand side

  2. Go to ‘Settings’ (at the very bottom)

  3. Click ‘Privacy & Security’

  4. Click ‘Clear Search History’ (at the very bottom)

It’s only a few weeks, it will make the WORLD of difference and you won’t have time anyway, because you will be busy using time!

This applies to anything else that makes you feel any of the above, so delete any apps or anything toxic on your phone/laptop that makes you feel those things.

Step 2:

Repopulate your feed with the most positive, interesting, inspiring and funny content you can find.

Who makes you feel good, what inspires you? Are there creative pursuits you’ve been thinking about starting? Follow people doing similar things. Are there people who have achieved the things that you want to achieve, follow them.  Are there accounts that just simply make you laugh and brighten your day? Fill your feed with this.

Here is a list of people we like to follow, this is just some inspiration from us, keep in mind that different people will resonate with you, so take our suggestions if they work for you, but also personalise it to make the best feed for you!
